File License

Every Decorans Design product is a digital 3D print file (STL, OBJ). When you buy a file you do not buy the design itself; you buy a license to use the file under the terms below. The design and the files remain the property of Decorans Design.

What you can do

• Print it for yourself. Print the design as many times as you like for personal use, gifts or your own home.
• Sell the physical prints. You may sell physical objects you print from the file, or have printed on your behalf by a print service. Hand-finishing, painting and assembling them is fine.
• Adapt it for printing. You may scale, split, repair, hollow, add supports to, or recolor the model to suit your printer and materials.
• Photograph your prints. You may use your own photos of your printed pieces to advertise and sell them.

What you cannot do

• Share or resell the files. You may not share, sell, give away, sublicense or upload the digital files, or any modified version of them, to any website, marketplace, file-sharing service or community.
• Use our images. You may not use the renders or photos from this website to sell your prints. Use photos of your own prints instead.
• Claim the design as yours. You may not present the design as your own original work, or register it as a design, trademark or copyright.
• Mass-produce it. Industrial production, such as injection molding, casting from molds made from the design, or large production runs, requires a separate written license.
• Use it for AI or digital assets. You may not use the files to train AI models, or turn them into NFTs or assets for games, films or other digital products.

One license per buyer

A license is for the person or business that bought the file and is not transferable. If a print service prints the file for you, it may only use the file to fulfil your order and must not keep or reuse it.

Credit

Crediting "Design by Decorans Design" when you sell prints is appreciated, but not required.

Ending the license

If these terms are broken, the license ends automatically and the files must be deleted. Decorans Design may take action against unauthorized sharing or resale of its files.
