Burgundy Bloom Cluster Curio

Organic curio design file for ceramic, plaster and 3D printing, shown in glossy burgundy: a cluster of slender tubes rises from a base of rounded, grape-like beads, each tube flaring into its own trumpet-shaped mouth at a different height. Between the tubes, an open honeycomb lattice fills the center and lets light through, like the inside of a coral or a seed pod. The sculpture stands on a thin round base plate. A bold, living form for a shelf, a console or a sideboard.
