Interlocking Gold Ring Curio

Ring curio design file for ceramic, plaster and 3D printing, shown in brushed gold: interlocking torus rings, each covered in fine concentric grooves, twist around one another beneath a wide, tilted top disc crowned with a polished inner ring. The rings seem to hold each other in balance, and the sculpture stands on a round base plate with small ball feet. The grooves catch the light differently on every curve, so the piece changes as you walk around it. A statement object for a coffee table, a bookshelf or a desk.
